Dear Chief Beavers:

Noah Webster says diarrhea is pathologically excessive evacuation of watery feces, and that sounds like the stuff coming from you and Patti Kaeberle in today's papers. Apparently you don't take your oath of office any more seriously than you took your marriage vows. First your incompetent officers take handfuls of plastic bomb fragments, then you tell the press there were no plastic fragments, then you announce you don't have jurisdiction of bombs and ship the case to the Fire Dept., then you tell the media the "Phelps family wasn't bomb target, police say," and finally you wisecrack that "we're not his (Phelps') private security." All this from a weak-willed ignoramus who tolerates crooked cops filing deliberately false police reports designed to impute criminal conduct to innocent people; and who, like Esau, sold his birthright for a mess of pottage.
